Alton Towers Scarefest. Halloween revelry at it's finest. Twas truly awesome this year, even better than last year.

First up, the Terror of the Towers. We didn't get to go on it last year, the queue was too long so we went there first and waited for about half an hour. Boy, was it worth the wait! It was absolutely brilliant!! The first bit was confusing, I was at the front of my party with Nicola behind holding my shoulders, and my contcts were acting up and it was really dark.... and I got lost '-_-. We ended up in this empty room with lights and some stairs and a speaker. Oops. So we doubled back, met up with another group that turned out to be entirely made up of people we knew, but were also lost. Eventually we figured out you had to sort of crawl under this mesh stuff, and then you got to the awesome bit, where stuff moved at random and actors jumped out at you from the dark. You get really paranoid after a few minutes, just looking at stuff going 'it's gonna jump out at us, Nic, really, I swear it is!' you have to walk single file, holding onto the person in front of you's shoulders; I was holding onto Nicola and this random woman I didn't know was freaking out behind me, and her boyfriend was trying to calm her down. Around about the point where that furry chick ran past us, she let go and I never saw either of them again (the girl and her boyfriend, I mean. I saw the furry chick again, I think she did a loop...), but by that point I was too busy watching curtains suspiciously to care. The last bit was definately the best: there were these dudes in dark robes with dead-looking faces in cages that you walked around. Sounds pretty tame right? but the lights were blinking really rapidly, so it looked like these guys were moving like thise stone angels from Doctor Who, and they were gettinjg CLOSE. Some of them actually came out of the cages and came right up to us. It was really freaky, but FABULOUS. I loved it!!

So afterwards we went out and did the normal thing: Oblivion, Nemesis, Air, Rapids, Ripsaw etc... They're even better in the dark, especially Oblivion and Rita: Queen of Speed. Nemesis still OWNS everything, best ride evaaaar~~!!!

Sea Life centre was cool, I got a shrimp manicure and this stingray dude came up and said hi ^^. Cute. The crabs and sharks were amazing, and completely not bothered. There was this crab that was three metres across. Me and Nic spent a full 10 minutes staring at it while we were getting our nails cleaned by the shrimp.

Blade was fantastic! Me, Nic, Harry, Emilia and Nick sat right at one end and Andy, Emily, Sarah, Shaun andTony sat at the other, facing us, and we had a huge shouting competition. We had the whole blade joining in soon enough, it was hilarious.

We did the gloomy wood walk, and me and Nic ran ahead, stopped by the broken coffin thing, Nic hid inside it and I stopped people going 'Excuse me, have you seen my friend, I'm getting worried...' At which point she jumps out of the coffin and screams. Twas roflsome, coz we only meant to do it to the other people we were there with, but it was too dark to see who was who, so we ended up doing it to everyone XD
In other news, I haz new drugs!!!!!! Called Colofac, some kind of relaxant. It seems to be working ^^. It only really hurt today when the safety restraints came down before the rides started, espesh Ripsaw and Air. If you've ever been on these rides, you'll know that the restraints on Ripsaw are really tight, and you're actually pressed into them on Air by GRAVITY. So ouchies.

Overall, awesome day~. Now I only have my birthday and my brother's wedding to look forward to. And after that, English Language exams T^T. Oh wellz.

Will now relax watching my fave Labyrinth scenes (They all involve Jareth ^^). I consider that a great success, getting Nightmares hooked on Labyrinth. Jareth is the KING!!!!!
